🌿 Why Dolce Villa Italy

A place to arrive… and feel at home

You feel the pull of Italy…
A slower rhythm, beautiful surroundings, and a way of living that invites you to truly enjoy your days. So it begins the planning, focusing on the practical aspects: accommodation, finances, logistics. But underneath, there’s something more personal you may be wondering:

👉 Will I feel at home?
👉 Will I find connection… or feel alone?

👉 What if something unexpected happens?

Because starting something new should feel exciting—not uncertain.

Dolce Villa Italy was created for exactly this moment in life (we experienced it too!): to offer an experience that feels welcoming, human, and reassuring. A place where you can truly immerse yourself in Italian culture and lifestyle, and embrace a meaningful new chapter of your life.

A place where you can slow down, settle in, and feel at ease.

Not rushed like a tourist. Not weighed down by the responsibilities of managing a home on your own.
But calm, supported, and deeply connected. 💛

🌿 Who We Are

We are not a hotel.
We are not a tour operator.

We are hosts — creating a small, carefully curated experience for people who want more than just a place to stay.

Behind Dolce Villa Italy is our personal story.

Andrea grew up in Rome with his grandparents who were originally from the hills of Roman Sabina, where as a boy he would lie under the stars, dreaming about the universe — a passion that later led him to get a degree in physics and become an astrophysicist.

I, Gabriela, was born in Austria and came to Rome to study fashion design — where I not only built my career, but also met Andrea and started our life together.

Over time, my professional path evolved into Human Resources and recruiting, where I worked closely with people — understanding their needs, guiding them through important life decisions, and helping them find the right place where they truly belong.

Our journey took us across Europe, through different careers, cultures, and experiences — always learning how to connect with people, adapt, and build something meaningful.

After many years, we chose to return to where it all began.

👨‍👩‍👦 A Life Built Around People

Our two sons grew up between cultures and languages — German, English, and Italian — shaping an open, international way of seeing the world.

Together as a family, we built a SaaS company, combining our different strengths — technology, communication, and human understanding.

But what mattered most through all these years was always the same:

👉 creating connection
👉 building something together
👉 and making people feel supported and included

🏡 A real place, not a concept

We want to be transparent and clear from the beginning.

Dolce Villa Italy is based on an existing property that already belongs to our family heritage. The villa is fully owned and does not involve any mortgage or external financing.

For the past years, the property has been under a long-term rental agreement. This contract will naturally end in January 2027, at which point the villa will return fully into our care.

This means Dolce Villa Italy is not an idea under construction, but a real place with a defined and confirmed timeline for its next chapter.

💙 Why We Created Dolce Villa Italy

Over the years, we met many people who shared the same dream:

To spend more time in Italy
To enjoy a slower, healthier lifestyle
To experience beauty, culture, and nature

But we also saw what often holds them back:

  • uncertainty

  • complexity

  • and the fear of feeling alone in a new place

And that’s where the idea for Dolce Villa Italy was born.

Because in the end, people are not just looking for a house or a holiday.

👉 They are looking for a place where they feel they belong.

🌿 What Makes It Different

Dolce Villa Italy is a hosted living experience.

A place where you can:

  • arrive and feel genuinely welcomed

  • have your independence, but never feel alone

  • connect with like-minded people

  • experience Italy in a deeper, more natural way

It’s about shared moments —
a conversation, a meal, a walk, a quiet evening — where connection happens effortlessly.

✨ A New Chapter Begins

Dolce Villa Italy will open in September 2027.

Until then, we are building something that goes beyond a place —
we are creating a feeling, a community, and a way of living.

A place for people who are ready to begin a new chapter with openness, curiosity, and joy.

🌿 You Don’t Have to Do This Alone

If something in this resonates with you,
it’s not by coincidence.

You don’t have to figure this out alone.

👉 If this speaks to you, let’s start a conversation. 💙
